Students and teachers watching salmon on a classroom screen

Live Migrations is exploring a potential partnership with the Albany Unified School District centered on mindfulness and educational offerings from our first Great Sockeye Migration. Watching nature on screens has proven effects on focus and attention and could provide an important counterbalance to childrens’ popular screen consumption. Our research affiliates at Clemson-UCLA hope to gather data from the results of such programs, adding to a body of evidence that watching nature is benificial to the young brain.
